I remember after the USC loss and also after the Arrests, there were numerous, at least 100 people saying how "the writing is on the wall" that pearl is leaving/fired and how this team is going to give up, and how these people as fans are giving up. There was a poll that also said "When did you give up on this team" ((COUGH COUGH TENNNC, GAHLEE (more than anyone else), WHATINVOLNATION, VOL 4Eva, dickens 821, and im tired of typing these ridiculous names so im gonna stop)) with alot of people talking about how they gave up. Most of the people commenting on this thread are some of the people that talked stuff about this team.

As a Volunteer, you stick with your team through the good times and the bad times. You stand by ur head coach, even if there are some things you dont agree with. Pearl has done more for this program than any coach since mears.

Regardless---

We did get a 6 seed, where alot of people disagreed with. Its a bad seed for a top 20 team. Pearl handled that with class, which impressed me. Your seeding DOES NOT reflect your season. It isnt your trophy or what youre gonna be remembered for.

Lets rally around this team. show your colors at work, class, the gym, wherever you are going to be. Let everyone know that were gonna rise above in this tourney, and show the heart Chism, Maze and our coaching staff have. Scream at the TV, tell your friends to stop sing rocky top everytime they see you out.

Some fair weather fans need to seriously stop, but they wont. The real fans need to live in this moment, bleed the orange like never before, and when we do lose, respect our team for having the good season were putting together. I had a strong feeling we were going to beat Kansas, be strong after the suspensions, and I also have a good feeling about this tourney. LIVE UP THESE NEXT FEW WEEKS, CAUSE WERE GONNA BE HERE FOR A WHILE!

LETS GO!!!!! IF YOU AINT ALL VOL, YOU ARE NOTHING AND LEAVE US ALONE!

and if i dont answer u immediately, its because im at class/work. Dont know how to get volnation mobile.

its the truth. All people do when these guys make fun of our team, is say "oh man, oh boy". those are the same people that get nervous when a fight breaks out. Others, like myself, scuffle around to get a front row seat. haha

We saw the true Vols basketball team during the tournament, the team I recognize from past years...underachieving when games matter most. I am a fan and I am used to being let down when tournament time comes around, and I don’t expect anything different this year.

I do believe the Vols are one of the most inconsistent teams year after year, its nothing new. I guess that’s why when people ask what I love doing and hate doing most, both answers are watching UT sports.

Damn, I sure am glad someone finally got around to starting this thread. I can't believe no one has done it before.

Maybe it has. How would you know? With a schedule like yours, I'd be surprised if you're able to get to 3 or 4 different threads a week.
