I lived in macon, GA for 7 years and they had an annual week-long Cherry Blossom festival. Every middle-aged and older man in town owned a pink blazer to match the cherry blossoms. It was kind of scary the first time I witnessed it.

I live in Macon now . . . Half those guys in pink jackets end up riding by my house in a tour bus full of blue hairs to look at my trees. That 3rd week in March is a little surreal.

There was a guy at the Vandy game sitting floorside that was wearing an orange suit! Jacket, pants and I think even his shoes were orange!

Cool. I rented a townhouse on Marjorie Place right off Ingleside Dr. in the middle of cherry blossom country. I have not stopped off in Macon in a few years but a buddy of mine stopped in for lunch at H&H a couple of weeks ago on his way up. I miss the soulfood places and the Georgia girls.

Drive by Piedmont Park in Atlanta during Pride Week and you'll see a lot of those pink jackets.

Just heard the Mears story tonight and, wow. . . . whoever thinks it's the "worst.jacket.ever." is never invited on my boat.

I know that you used to be able to get the jackets at JC Penney, especially around football season. Maybe they will start carrying them year round now!

Not that anyone looks GREAT in orange, but at least Pearl can semi pull it offf! :wink2:

Just watch, wall posters of the BIG NARANJA going LOCO in his blazer will soon be adorning the walls of potential recruits and wannabes all over America...Bruce has got to grow one of those skinny mexican mustaches to complete the image.
