Pardon me if this has been covered somewhere else but I've read through many posts and can't find. Does anyone know where our coaches went this weekend to recruit. Please merge if necessary

Derek Dooley has decided not to go out because he can't talk to a prospect and there's always a concern when the head coach goes out to watch a game that a prospect gets his feelings hurt and doesn't feel as wanted if the head coach doesn't come to his game.

Tennessee will have a staff member in New Jersey on Friday to see a couple of athlete/running backs. Darin Hinshaw will be up North and then will head to Kansas to see defensive tackle Sylvester Williams play on Saturday.

Lance Thompson will be in Virginia in the prep school ranks watching Fork Union and Hargrave to evaluate two programs

Terry Joseph is heading to California to check on some junior college prospects Defensive line is certainly a junior college priority which is why you have seen Tennessee express interest in not only Maurice Couch, who might be the most important recruit on the board, but also in Williams and they have tried to make inroads with Missouri commitment Sheldon Richardson.

Since Pearl is limited on traveling to see recruits, he had a B-Bque for several recruits at his place.

Is this normal with all coaches, or is it just part of the dd new way of recruiting?

The best uncommited players fitting that bill are Savon Huggins and Miles Shuler. They sure would be worth the trip.
