Not sure. He'll go somewhere.

Has the new guy at Memphis filled his DC position. I'd hate to see him take that job (and don't think he would). Just curious.

Of all the destinations mentioned, CSU with Bobo makes a lot of sense.

However, whether he gets any job will depend on the facts surrounding the speculated "inappropriate" relationship thing. No head coach in his right mind would invite that sort of baggage in a new hire unless desperate.

NCAA should have the same regulation on coaches as they do the players get out a year

I really hope you are joking. It's not his fault he was let go. He turned our defense around regardless of what some think. Don't know where he will go but someone will get him

Colorado State just hired a new defensive coordinator, so Jancek won't be going to Ft. Collins.

I want to emphasize my use of the word "speculated." There is certainly more behind the decision than has been shared. I personally was not buying that speculation, but had seen it shared by others. I've always thought highly of CJJ. Seems like a standup guy and I honestly felt he deserved to remain our DC based on performance in his time at UT. For that reason, I believe there were ulterior motives for his firing. Perhaps pressure from Hart or boosters. I do trust that CBJ knows what he is doing. Regardless of my relatively uninformed opinion, he has made great decisions at almost every turn. (negavols insert your lame references to lost leads in 4th qtr bc you hate to recognize we have a darn good head coach.
