Well let the excuses why it is a forgery begin. I am sure the Birthers will have all kinds of reasons.

i actually thought about this (not seriously, but thought about it), but obviously obama is far better off not releasing it than having his hawaii buds change the document.

Zoom in close on mother's signature. Everything after the D is a thicker ink. The difference is a 0.5 Bic and a 0.7 Bic.

People will say that she signed a different last name, and it was erased and started after the D to make people think the ink pen was running low, and so used a different pen.

it's been photoshopped. except they did a poor job, because the curvature of the paper is not reflected on the green background pattern on the left side.

The pencil marks are house keeping. Little marks used for databasing and making sure the form is filled out properly.
