Agreed. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like Negedu had done a lot whenever he's actually been used. Perhaps Pearl caught Fulmer's ailment of playing veterans over more talented players.[/QUOTE]
if that's true, then woolridge shouldn't see the floor from what I've seen of him. and hopson should get fewer minutes.
i don't care if you play tyler at the 3 and negedu at the 4 or 5 - he needs to be in the game more. he certainly is more equipped to play the game than most on the team.
he might be equipped, but he's the out of position and most mechanical about where he's going of everyone on the squad. Nothing's natural for him right now and it shows. He's a freaky athlete and it will pay dividends when he combines it with some basketball skill / knowledge.Agreed. that's just plain wrong, especially if you're referring to his defense.
when he's on the court, he's constantly covering for others' ineptitude on defense.
i've never said he has much individual offensive skills, and that's fine with me. he doesn't screw up, he actually sets screens and hits the boards hard - we'd make up much more of what we lack with him on the floor, and at least it would send a statement that you learn how to play or don't play at all.
his defense is solid because he's willing to make the effort. Nobody else is. It's not a learnin' thing.that's just plain wrong, especially if you're referring to his defense.

On O, he's simply a body at this point and that's why he plays little.
If by "the way it's supposed to be played," you mean not having the first bit of a feel for the game and simply playing in a "see ball, chase ball' manner, you're right.
