Don Tello says TN will be in the Cotton Bowl if Arkansas wins the SEC and we will be in the Capital One Bowl if Florida wins. Capital One will not take Auburn because they played Wisconsin in that game last year. We may end up in Tampa, but I don't see it happening.

Interesting scenario.

I bought two Cap One tix Monday morning in case UF loses this Saturday, figuring thyat puts us in Cap One. I figured Arky for the Cap One spot if Florida wins, but I guess they could still go Cotton.

I don't know, though. Would mean coming in off two straight losses, right? I think they probably go to the Cap One if they lose.

But if in fact UT comes here to Orlando, I'll let someone take the tix from me for face value. End zone, about 15 rows up, I think. Lower level, though, and you can't get anything between the 20's now.

I think if FLA wins Ark will go to the cotton bowl. Then it will be between us in Auburn For the Capital One bowl. They will not want a rematch from last year so we will go to the Capital. If Ark wins FLA will go to the Capital One which puts us in the Outback. Auburn has not been to the Cotton bowl in a while and I think they will travel better to the cotton then we will. Just my thoughts...

I just want the meaningless SEC Championship game to get over with so this can all get sorted out. I say "meaningless" because the media doesn't care about this game at all. Even if Florida wins, they won't even consider them a National Title contender. It's absurd that this happens almost every year. Auburn, a couple of years ago, was the same type of deal. They judge these teams off style points. Of course an SEC team isn't going to win with style, it's too hard to win in the SEC. The media will never recognize this.

Very True. I have heard very little about this game this week from the media. Biggest news this week is Shula getting fired, not the SECCG. I can wait for it to be over, so I can see where I am going on vacation after Christmas!!:)

What's sad is the Big 12 Championship game is getting more hype because of the Adrian Peterson saga. There isn't even a one-loss team in this game. No respect for the SEC. This needs to be a very good bowl season for the SEC.

Considering that SEC Championship game tix are going for a little more than face value on Ebay, seems like many UF/Arky fans aren't into this game too much either. It would also seem that if the SEC champ game tix aren't a hot commodity for either team that that will likely effect how good of a bowl the loser gets.

arky is in the cotton if they lose. the texas/ark. matchup would be a huge draw. aub could still go to the cap one, cause bowls are always afraid of rematches ie ok/ore in the holiday. uga is a lock for the peach. if fla. wins the seccg the only thing that keeps us out of the outback is lsu not getting an at large bcs bid. if ark. wins lsu and fla will end up fighting for the at large bcs bid, and who knows what happens. if only one sec team gets into the bcs we could get screwed big time.

Cotton has only said the Big 12 loser goes against an SEC team. Nothing has been said which SEC team yet.
