if/when we expand? I don't know if anyone has brought this up yet, so I will throw it out there... Let's assume that we add aTm, OU, OSU and Mizzou, or even just aTm and Mizzou. Would Slive feel the need to move the site championship game site from Atlanta? My guess is that if it is moved then the Superdome is the next best option. I think it is possible that alternating between New Orleans and Atlanta each year would also be an option to look at as to not show total favortism. What do you guys think?

I know about the 2021 article and don't really agree with it. Also just saw that people started to discuss what I said in that thread. My bad.

Knowing the SEC, they would try to put it in Birmingham again. If Atlanta is not where the game is played then I think it should rotate kind of like the SEC basketball tournament. It could be in any of the regional NFL stadiums, but I still think it should be centered on Atlanta just because the majority of the schools are relatively close.

Should stay in Atlanta...unless you have have 4 division regionals set up, in which case other cities should be used

Perhaps what should be considered more is whether or not the basketball conference championship tournament should move with (hypothetically) more big cities open

Your available big cities would include Atlanta, Nashville, St Louis, Houston, possibly new Orleans, and debatable about Dallas as an option

(KC is outdoor so doesn't help terribly with much)

I'd like to see it rotate amongst a few cities. Maybe Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans, Dallas.

Zero chance it comes back to Bham unless they finally get the Dome built they have tried to get for 10+ years. There is nowhere here to even play a game. Poor UAB has to play at Legion Filed, which is falling apart and in a terrible area. Hoping they can get the Dome built one day, i would love for it to come back here. But Atlanta is a great central location and venue. Even though UT has had Zero success in the Dome in quite a while. When was our last win there? I know we have lost to Maryland, clemson and VTech in the chick-filet bowl and have lost I know the last 3 SEC Championship games, 2 to LSU and 1 to Auburn so that is atleast 6 in a row, just didnt know if i was missing one.

How in the world can Birmingham think of building a new stadium when they are skirting bankruptcy from their sewer bond fiasco? I never want to see the SEC Championship Game held there!
