Where's your focus: Basketball or Football?

After last night, I am really looking forward to basketball season, they looked solid.

With football only having vandy and UK left, I'm shifting over to basketball. But I do plan to watch the games for both sports, so the focus is really on both.

Football on Saturdays, basketball the rest of the week. Recruiting during the day.

The answer is...it depends.

Right now it's kind of a crossover time; the Vols last 2 football opponents are rather weak (Vandy much more so than Kentucky granted), and the regular season is winding down. About all that is left is finding out which bowl we're going to. Yes I know we have to win one more but at the very least there's no way we have any business losing to this year's Vandy team.

At the same time, it's kind of early for me to get into basketball. Most of UT's pre-SEC schedule is weak this year, and really I never truly get into basketball until the SEC season starts.

This is kind of a lull period for me until the good bowls start and basketball really gets going. Kind of like a late fall break. I'm glad basketball is getting going but I'm always a bit sad that football season is almost over.

Don't forget to let your voices be heard because football is dominating basketball in the early polls.

BASKETBALL no doubt. Football is reeling with nothing but negative happenings while basketball is rocking with the news of Pinkston and Harris !

Football is how it is at this point in the season but I'm very interested to see where this bball team will go.

Pinkston changed his mind about signing today and is now waiting until the spring signing period.

When the BB team plays someone of note, I'll watch that. I think it'll always FB 1st, but I do love what Pearl has done.

Both. I'm still focusing on the Vols finishing strong, but I'm interested in the basketball team as well. The basketball team is starting off very strong.

Basketball is the focus. Football should finish 7-5 and go to a decent bowl. That is a good first year for this staff. Basketball has the potential to have an exceptional year.

Continue to vote and express your feeling either at this thread or at the original start thread. The tide should start turning in the next several weeks or months.

Are you saying that basketball is becoming more important overall?
