Which Early Enrollee Will Make An Impact?

Blair and Von Pearson for sure. I think Mixon, Helm, Wolf and Creamer will all see a good amount of playing time as well.

Hurd and Malone, well that goes w/o saying.

For the sake of winning more games this year lets hope all of them. If I had to choose just one besides Hurd or Malone I would say Pearson.

I think the easier (but only slightly easier) question is who will be the least impactful early --- can't even reasonably narrow it down through their first year let alone through their career. All of our EEs are just that high class/high character, high talent, and so very much needed. They also have a winning attitude that brings out the best in everyone.

Personally, I'm excited beyond belief and even an EE that doesn't start will add depth and push our team to be better than ever. :dance2:

Dontavius Blair

Offensive Tackle
6-foot-8, 303 pounds
Garden City (Kan.) Community College

Blair immediately becomes a candidate to start for the Vols this year with Tennessee having to replace all five of its starting offensive lineman. He played left tackle for most of his JUCO career, and he’s expected to stay there at UT. Tennessee needs to find a replacement for Antonio Richardson, who decided to leave early for the NFL draft.

The JUCOs would be my picks. Probably Malone. But the new D linemen are going to have to contribute whether they are ready or not.

We are so short on talent I'd say everyone. If not as a starter, it will be getting better because of a more talented scout team. The talent level you play against in practice makes a difference.
A better scout team makes for a better group of starters.

RB - Jalen Hurd
WR - Josh Malone
WR - Lavon Pearson (JUCO)
TE - Daniel Helm
OT - Dontavious Blair (JUCO)
C - Coleman Thomas
DT - Owen Williams (JUCO)
CB - D'Andre Payne

I think all of these will start - you take your pick

Hoping LP lives up to the hype of being the next CP. That'd be cool. More so, I'm really hoping O Williams makes the biggest splash. We need him to make an immediate impact.

I like this Wolf kid. I didn't realize we had so few receiving yards from the TE position in '13.

over Mack??

not guaranteed, no, but he is more athletic and so I think if he can acclimate then he gives you a more talented line

if he were coming in the fall i would say definitely not, but being an EE, yes, I think he has a chance to start over Mack
