I believe Duke will shock the ACC and I think MTSU is getting very good.

Woo baby! Bama's goin' down!

In all seriousness I'll believe it when I see it...or when Duke actually makes a bowl game...MTSU may be the best team in the state though

LSU will be much improved in the SEC.

Oregon State in the Pac 10 will be better.

I think UofH has momentum left so, Im not sure if you'd consider them "improved" from last year.

Good question really. Good thread.

I hate to say this, but Notre Dame may improve.

Negative on LSU improving, the coach doesn't even know how many players he has on his team.

Agreed, you may not see big gains this year, but they will make some.

Washington- Probably makes a bowl this year. That's a big improvement from 0-12 two years ago.

Oklahoma- Yeah I know it's Oklahoma, but they weren't that good last year.

FSU
North Carolina

Surely someone down there can figure it out before the season starts. I was going off of the pretense that they will be better than they were last year.

I hate to say it but ND. Weis loaded them up with talent and CBK can flat out coach. I expect a strong season for the shamers.

I agree with this. They had an up-and-down year last season, which was quite an improvement over the 0-12 the year before, and I am also expecting something in the ballpark of 9-3 from them. Maybe an 11-1 type of season if they really start rolling. Probably 5-7 if it all falls apart.

As for Duke, I think they will probably be around 8-4 or 7-5 and make a bowl. Not beating Alabama though. Should be quite the atmosphere that day, however - they are saying it will be the biggest home game for Duke since 1942 (when they hosted the Rose Bowl due to WWII).
