Which former Vols break into MLB this season

Gilbert was the steadiest until injury hit him. Beck flashed in minor league championship series. Gilbert in new digs for 2024 in Big Apple.

Agree with you on both. Gilbert has been great thus far snd the Mets have cleared the way for him. I think it would likely be a late season call up for him. The Rays list Hunley as one to possibly break through this season as an important piece to support the pitching staff.

I think Beck will be a 2025 debut unless he has a tremendous start to 2024. Only has about 50 AA games under his belt and his numbers dropped off somewhat in AA. Could be a late season call up but I think his day is coming in 2025.

If Garrett Stallings keeps progressing he is another one that could see a debut in 2024.

Depending on free agency, you may see 2 VFL Mets this year. Gilbert will get a shot in that outfield and you may see Tidwell in September.

Really, we have a ton of Vols at AA and AAA. Could see a lot of guys sniff the majors.

Lipscomb had a pretty decent season last year as well. If he continues to develop...

I forgot about Dallas! He did well in that BlueJays organization.

Hopefully Hunley starts at AAA in Durham and has better results th we re than last year when he was sent back down to Biscuits. Also, it seems Rays pitcher end up with a lot of TJ injuries so hope he avoids that tendency. Can't wait to see him in the pen at the Trop.
