The title pretty much says it all...

I'm curious to see who will come in and pretty much start from the get go...I'm also interested in seeing if any of our recruits earn a starting spot over someone else.

With Raijon Neal graduating, I could see Jalen Hurd getting some work at RB with Marlin Lane (If they keep him at RB that is)

I hope we get to see Vic Wharton return punts and kicks... He is a track speedster and it seems like I am always reading that he returned a punt or a kick to the house for his HS team.

Helm and/or Wolf have a very good chance at starting just because we are dying for help at TE.

All the JUCO's will likely start - Lambert at DE, Blair at OL and Pearson at WR.

Bates and Weatherd could both start or at least see playing time at linebacker.

And Todd Kelly and D'Andre Payne should see time at DB.

Other than Sutton...there is a possibility that the entire secondary just got recruited over. Don't sleep on Gaulden either.

Anybody on defense that has SEC caliber speed, should start immediately!!!

We are slow as molasses on D and have been for several years. It's frustrating to watch at times.

Every dman recruited will start next year. Not all offensive players will start.

We will probably not see any of them start as freshman ,but should get play time in the rotation. Now that is to start the season next year but as the season progresses some will win the starting roll. I wouldn't look at any lb's starting over our veterans. Some db's might sneek in a starting job. Now as far as juco players any and all should be competing for starting jobs from day one. Hurd should be in the rotation behind lane.I don't think the TE's will start after these guys we have now get another year under there belt. Same goes for wideouts. But this all depends on if no juniors leave which I personally don't see happening. AND THAT IS NOTHING AGAINST THEM.

I would bet two on each line, one linebacker, two secondary, one TE, and maybe one WR. So, that is about 8-10. This will set us up well for 2015!

I think there will be plenty of PT for all of them.

Offense:
RB: Hurd will be #2 to start the year and may turn into more of a combo as the year progresses.

WR: This class will add quality depth and contribute often.

TE: Daniel Helm and Etham Wolfe will come in and make immediate impacts. I look for Helm to start opposite Branisel game 1.

OL: All of them will add depth and have a chance to start, but imo the RT,LT are the positions that have the most availability. (IMO Jackson, Crowder and Weisman are out interior lineman next year).

Defense:

DL: All the freshman will add depth and all of them will have a chance to start.

LB: If AJ stays and Maggitt is ready to play next season, then I see quality depth added, but I truly believe any of the LB's could come in and start day 1.

DB: This DB class was recruited to add depth and speed. They will all play early and often, but I do not know if any of them will start right away.

Special Teams:

PR/KR: Vic Wharton will get looks here.

P: Bullock will probably battle Darr for these duties.

K: Medley might come in and kick as a Freshman.

DL: Lambert. Hendrix will likely be a part of the rotation. Barnett might as well.

LB: If AJ comes back, then I'd imagine that Weathers and Bates have the best shot at starting/playing a lot.

S: Kelly and McDowell have good shots at playing a lot and at least one of them will likely crack the rotation.

CB/NB: IMO this is where we have the best opportunity to have a true freshman displace an upper classman as a starter. With Gaulden/Evan Berry/Payne/Moseley coming in, Coleman/Toney could lose their spots (or Coleman could be moved to nickel.

OL: Blair plays. Coleman Thomas has an outside shot at cracking the lineup since he's an EE and is insanely athletic for his size.

WR: Pearson will start. Booth/Creamer/Wharton could RS and that's a good thing. It's a sign of depth.

TE: Wolf is an EE, and his size and strength means he'll likely get time at least in blocking situations. Helm will be a mismatch day one, but he's a bit of an unknown as a blocker. We'll see.

RB: Hurd will get his carries if healthy, though Lane probably starts.

Sutton and Gaulden at corners

RANDOLPH and TK jr at safety

Payne, Berry, or Wharton in at Nicel

I don't see us getting beat by speed next year. Also expecting to see Reeves Maybin playing LB along with Weatherd and Maggitt at middle LB.

Our outside LB with have the speed that UF, UGA, and LSU have had. This will be our biggest improvement.

Our Pass coverage will be suspect next year due to playing young guys but not because we will be slow. Looking to win the east in 3 years or LESS

Hurd, all OL, all defenders, PK pretty much all but 2 WRs and the QB and TE (but maybe even TE)

RB: Hurd splits carries with Lane.

WR: Pearson gets good playing time.

TE: Helm or Wolf could start.

OL: Blair starts. Raulerson is this years Wiseman. He will see some playing time.

DL: Lambert starts.

LB: All LB recruits have an opportunity to play. Weatherd Bates and Bryant get significant minutes with one or two starting.

DB: Gaulden, Moseley, Kelly, and Ev Berry play significant minutes. Gaulden and Kelly win starting jobs by end of year.

Just off the top of my head, Sutton, JRM, and Maggit could seriously be the only returning players that start on D.

Hurd will likely co-start with Lane, all the OL will be gone, we need a couple new WR to go with North and Pig.

Palardy will be gone. Completely new team next year! Better athletes, less experience. I don't know how it will work out, but I'll take athleticism over experience almost every time.

Hurd will start and be the star. I don't understand all this "Hurd will see some time" and "If Hurd plays RB".

He will be the RB and IMO he will be one of the best players on the roster.

Returning players as starters next year or returning starters still starting?

You're forgetting Vereen, O'Brien, Randolph and Saulsberry there. Vereen and Saulsberry are almost definitely starters. It's obvious how important Randolph is to our D. I doubt he loses his job to a FR.

I almost definitely think McNeil does unless he improves in the off-season.

Dewayne hendrix & Derreck Barnett are coming in at a position of real need they both could possibly get s start before the season is done. Especially Barnett considering his size already.
