Which is better?

A Bama supporter told me they will match anything Texas offers and Saban wasn't going anywhere. I would consider him a credible source, a Bama graduate and businessman.

If Saban does leave it won't be because of the money. He can get whatever he wants from either school. No body knows what Saban is going to do but Saban, and certainly bama supporters don't have a clue what is going to happen. This guy has renigged before, he won't have a problem to do it again.

UTjr could offer a rediculous amount of $$$. But other than that why would Nick make a lateral (at best) career move?

Discounting the fact that he and his wife are two of only a few in the area with a full set of teeth?

I like the idea of kicking the crap out of him next year in neyland and then him running off to anywhere with his tail between his legs.

I really dont think he's going to Texas. I know, he needs to win somewhere else, blah blah, but let's be realistic here; he has found the holy grail of college coaching. He's now in a system where he still has to work hard but he just replenishes the cellar every year. He's still coaching them up but he wins NC every other year. Why would anybody realistically leave that.

I just hope he retires soon. That's the only way he's leaving Bama. Unless he just hates the state of Alabama, which sucks pretty bad, but then, he should go retire at Hawaii.. Wouldnt that be something? Hawaii becomes a national powerhouse under Saban's watch? HAHA

Seriously, why would Saban leave for a "challenge" in what would be considered the 3rd best conference (probably the 4th given the uptick in the ACC). I just don't see that. If Saban leaves it will be for money and I think Bama would match any number Texas would throw out there. If it was about a challenge he would be considering the USC job.

I'd find some joy in seeing the bammers all up in arms but I gotta admit I dont like see an outside school comming into the SEC and cherry picking our coaches.

The reality tho is that bama could hock every trailer in the state and still not match the money tx could throw at em...if they want to.

I know us winning a NC and beating a Saban coached Bama would be tops, but which is better....The midget going to Texas or him playing us at Neyland next year?

We already beat a Saban coached team. At LSU, in 2004. The great thing about it is that at half time, Saban was convinced that he would get the victory against us. Boy, was he surprised!!!!!
