The wait from the opening of fall camp to opening kickoff or the wait in between games during a bye week?

Camp. Easily.

At least there is football on this week, which is better than the nothing (or worse, pre-season NFL) that goes on in August.

Personally, waiting for the South Carolina game to get here is excruciating! The atmosphere at Neyland Saturday was addictive - and I need more of it now. Got to keep up the momentum and leverage that confidence builder to take down the Gamecocks! Go VOLS!

Bye week will help us get some of the younger players more reps in practice.

It will also give us time to get Mo Couch back on the field.

It will also let some of the players with nagging injuries, get more rest.

It also gives us two weeks to prepare for an opponent.

All positives in my book!

I agree but which would you rather wait through?

The former, easily.

I actually enjoy the bye week...gives me a chance to see other football games without having to worry about the Vols. I get to park in front of the HDTV with the requisite amount of food and beer and watch.

That having been said...glad there is only ONE bye week.
