With whole Gruden going to Philly rumor going around, I think its very relevant to discuss this. I had a good little debate with my friends about this. I do feel like Tennessee is the better job but I think Jon Gruden loves the NFL a little too much.

Fanbase: UT (Donovan McNabb nuff said..)
Tradition: UT (How many SuperBowls does Philly have?)
Money: Eagles (Well they are a NFL team)
Getting better players: UT (Just go out there and get them yourself)
Getting stability: UT (We could easily be 6-1 or 5-2 this year) (The NFC East is a very competitive division with Romo, RG3, and Manning)

I think UT was in fair play for Gruden until the Philly job opened/opens up.

We might as well move on to the next available proven coach...I know we all wished Gruden would come rescue our football program and turn it around, but its not happeing now only cause Andy Reid is going to be fired at the end of the season and Gruden most likely will take that job if offered. Vick is a HORRIBLE QB and needs to get out of the NFL!! he proved it on Sunday when the Cowboys kicked the s--- out of the Eagles and plucked what feathers they had left...LOL GO DALLAS!!

The NFL expects playoffs almost every year, in that division, Washington is on the rise, NY is there and Dallas has the money... not necessarily a good job atleast until Manning is gone. Is it better than the Vols? Not sure, it depends on how quickly we can get to 9-10 wins a season, which may be 2 years with the right coach, but competing in the SEC with 14 teams is more difficult than it was.

Take your orange glasses off. Philly is a better gig. Gruden is not comming to be the Vols coach.

So even after they laughed in your face, you thought you'd share the discussion here?

He will NOT follow Andy Reid in Philly........................the most probably place in the NFL, if he were to go there, is San Diego.
