3. Of the coaching staffs hired this offseason, who is making the biggest impression on the recruiting trail?

I think you'd be naïve if you didn't say Tennessee. I say this not just because of the recruiting wars that already are raging in SEC territory; rather, it's Tennessee's national approach that makes this even more relevant. The Vols are working on prospects in almost every corner of the nation, and they're going to be factors on prospects in Florida, Texas, California and even in places like Washington and in the Northeast. They're all over the place, and they've without question made the biggest impression so far.

I think you have to at least mention Auburn because of the way that staff has been able to drum up a lot of excitement from a lot of big-name players, but it's hard to pick against Tennessee. What that staff was able to do post-signing day was ridiculous: The No. 1 player in the country, a five-star cornerback and a Rivals100 running back. Even though they've ruffled some feathers along the way, I don't think there's any doubt that Lane Kiffin's staff has shaken up the recruiting landscape the most.

IMO, the guys that didnt pick Tennessee are complete and utter morons.

How boring would it be if everyone chose Tennessee? I mean, we would love that, but the average reader wouldn't.

I don't get the Auburn reference though. All they have done is waste valuable time in the evaluation period by sending all of their allotted position coaches to the same destination in a fancy limo with AU magnets on it. I bet they don't get one single recruit that Saban wants out of Alabama this year. They would have been better served to canvas the Southeast on guys that Saban hasn't already got on lockdown.

Sure they have 4 commits, but they are of nobody of note -- three 3* players and an unranked kicker. I would take our current class over theirs without hesitation.

I can understand Auburn because of the limo thing that's made national news, but WASHINGTON??? That's too funny.

Kiff and O rappelling out of an Orange helicopter onto the Pahokee practice field during practice would be a lot of fun. I'm not sure the NCAA has rules against that yet.

They just couldn't use smoke as I understand it. :)

No sane person could pick UW or AU over the Vols, the proof is in the pudding. In this case that pudding is Bryce Brown.
