were the scariest for you? I want to buy one on DVD and can really only afford one right now. Which one is the scariest? Thanks guys.

If you can only buy one, then get the original. You can always add the others later.

The first one. The second one was pretty good as well but if you can only get one, get the original.

Rob Zombie's remake of the first was better than the original. I haven't seen his second, but I have heard it wasn't as good.

i don't know if it was better, but i'll say as good. i'd go with rz's version of the original if i was buying only one.

Blasphemy.

The original is still the best, and part 2 was good. After that...ehhhh it depends. Do you like crappy movies?

Halloween 3 has nothing to do with the Myers storyline.
Halloween 4 actually isn't really THAT bad.
Halloween 5 is crap.
Halloween 6 is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
Halloween H20 is ok, but could have been better.
Halloween Resurrection started out great, then went to crap.
Halloween Reboot is the best since 2, but that's not saying a lot. It too started out great but then it seemed to go on cruise control.
Halloween Reboot 2 - more of the same.

Turns out, alot of the movies are on YouTube, just in parts of 10 minute segments. For some reason they didn't have 1 on there, so I ended up watching 2, and RZ 1.

**Spoilers**

2- Was pretty good, didn't make me jump at all. Dr. Loomis blowing up at the end was definatly a shocker. Didn't expect it.

RZ1- Was good at the beginning with the story line, then just turned out to be bleh. It did make me jump a couple times, but I didn't like the new scratched up mask. I like the plain white "ghostly" looking mask.

The remake was considerably better than the original. The second one by Rob Zombie was horrible.

The RZ version was simply another in the seemingly cookie cutter movies he makes. Same bad actors, same gratuitous T&A, same bad directing. Get the original.

The original is important bc it helped define the genre. Zombie's remake is better as a movie

I like Zombie's movies, not just the Halloween movies, because they are good stories. The Devil's Rejects is my personal favorite.
