I think Justin Worley, Rajion Neal and Michael Palardy did. I'd also probably include Jalen-Reeves Maybin, Dan McCullers and Marquez North.

Agree or disagree? Any others you would add?

Worley clearly. Although it was a fairly low bar to exceed.

Palardy's punting was outstanding.

Vereen saw very few snaps but had the first sack of his career (I think). He played well the short time he was in... So is it far fetched to say he had the best game of his career?

maybe vereen and pig?

Unexcusable omission of Pig.

Pig absolutely played the best game I remember him having. He had some exceptional runs and his catch on the first drive set the tone and gave Worley some confidence right out of the gate.

I'm not sure about Vereen.

I was proud for Worley for his second half performance.

Agree on Palardy, I was amazed at the distance on some his punts...one was 57yards iirc. But I believe you have to give some serious applause to the punt coverage team as a whole!

I was impressed with the intensity Pig played with. When the ball was in his hands he was a terror to bring down.

M North had a big impact, still had a dropped pass but certainly came up huge on the TD. Not comparing him to CP specifically, but you just get the feeling he will be one of those players that gets you on the edge of your seat every time the ball hits his hands!

Honestly I don't remember any of them playing any better in the last 3 years. Maybe Tiny last year against Clowney. AJ may have had better games but I don't recall any off hand. I was at the Clemson/ UGA game this year and after the WKU game leaving Neyland I really thought we are going to get hammered by Georgia this year but they all bought in and laid it on the line. Hope they keep building off this and eliminate the mistakes.

Actually, Michael's longest was 65 yards; he AVERAGED 51.2 yds. per punt. As for the punt return team, they held Georgia to a total of -2 yards. The General would have been very, very proud of our special teams play, especially when you throw in the blocked punt which we returned for a touchdown.

Butch - his best game coaching for sure.

+1

His aggressive mindset rubbed off on his team.

He pushed the button they responded.

There were several players that reached a new level. Ready to see them sustain it and some new names join the list. That will show we are going where we want to go.

Have to go Worley. 2nd place would be Pig.

Palardy has played balls to the wall the whole season. Dude is the real deal. Breaks my heart he didn't have Jones when he first got here.

I really think he's finally healthy as well.

#1. Worley
#2. Pig
#3. Vereen although he did not play a lot of snaps he made an impact every time he was on the field.

I would like to throw out Sapp and Palardy's name as they both seem to get better every time they step on the field.

There was a team one time, it was around '97 or '98 I think. And they were so "team" oriented that there wasn't a single stand out star on the roster. They all played their hearts out every game. Wish we'd get a team like that again.

All those already mentioned are worthy candidates.

1- The whole coaching staff's best performance by far.

2- I know AJ Johnson has been around awhile and had some big games, but IMO this may have been his best all around game in terms of performance and leadership, he was making plays sideline to sideline, lining people up correctly and being a vocal and emotional leader out there. In short he looked like the player and leader TN needs him to be with this young team and he impressed the hell out of me Saturday.

I think you're looking at it. No real stand out stars, and playing as a team. Kudos to CBJ and staff.
