Not saying that we WILL get upset, just curious to hear VNs take on who is most likely. We all know we have a target on our back. Everyone will be giving us their best as it’s a chance to beat a ranked opponent.

Note that I’m not including Kentucky and LSU as those game will be slug fests with 2 teams of equal caliber barring injury.

Not including Bama and UGA because…It’s not really stubbing your toe if you try to kick a brick.

None of those teams are likely to be ball park close. USCe is the best team of that bunch... but they're not good.
No reality exist where Spencer Rattler beats the vols lol. I agree with you none of these teams r close

None. Lsu or KY. Don't like the match ups
Concerned about LSU because of their talent on D. Love the match ups with UK. They've played 3 MAC teams. All 3 have thrown for more than 300 yds vs UK. I think it is safe to say the AR they saw was different from the one UT saw. UT definitely has problems on D... but AR hit throws he was missing consistently earlier.

I don't think they can stop UT's O. I think UT can limit them on D.

Man none of those teams are upsetting us with our offense. If we were a defensive and time of possession type team maybe. But we are the no1 offense in the country and none of those listed are going to slow us down. The biggest chance for an upset is being played next weekend at lsu. That would be considered an upset because they’re not ranked and we are. But Kentucky is the biggest legitimate threat outside of bama and uga. But none of those 3 teams beating us will be considered an upset.

I mean, if forced to pick, one clearly stands out above the others…..
Yea that UT Martin game is going to be a 4 quarter grind it out type win. Hopefully we get a few lucky breaks along the way and we steal one with them overlooking us. They have a huge game with Houston Baptist the following week and 2 weeks to prepare for us.

LSU or KY are probably the only two teams capable of causing Tennessee to “slip up.”

I think LSU more so than KY. At LSU is not easy. KY seems decent to good on O and D……but not really good anywhere. They will need an amazing D, an amazing O or some type of amazing hostile environment…….it’s at Tennessee so I don’t see it……but if we’re looking for “slip ups” for me this is only where I could see it.

Those 4 teams are just so bad it is just hard to fathom. USCe on the road is the only one that stands a chance.
