I find this funny/sad. Someone really needs to remind Obama that this country still offers freedoms (for now), and stuff like this just makes him look like an idiot.

They reported this morning that all the other news networks declined the interview unless Fox was allowed to as well.

edit - I see that I can't read.

Fox News is easily the most popular news channel, with 5 of the most popular news shows. Probably will not be missing to much by not talkin to the "Czar"! Seems to me that it is obvious that Obama and co. dont like Fox News.

Obama is a lot more thin skinned than I thought he was. He is not tought at all.

I don't get this strategy of trying to marginalize Fox News. Don't they get that pushing back against Fox only helps Fox?

Unprecedented in the US.. I can see maybe black balling a certain reporter, but an entire news agency? This is only the beginning. Pretty soon we will have our own version of Al Jazeera or Al Obama.

So, what you are saying is that Obama is CHICKEN.

The title makes so much more sense now....

We'll negotiate with Iran because they are reasonable leaders. But talk with Fox News? Hell no, that is crazy talk.

Obama is the dang President of the US. He has 4 of the 5 major networks eating out of his hand, yet he chooses to focus on the one network that is actually being a watchdog. Sometimes they can take it a little far (e.g. Hannity, Beck) but they are the only channel that sees what Obama is trying to do, which is in some small sense, remake the image of this country.

I believe the words were "fundamentally transform" this country. I've heard that somewhere.

It's even more telling when you consider that he gave his first interview to Al Jazeera (I'm speaking from memory here, but that's how I recall it).
