White Out vs Florida in honor of Chris Lofton

Good idea - but it won't be close to a white out since you have to pay for the shirts instead of them being in the seats. Atleast that's what I'm assuming - says their $15... but you can go ahead and buy them now.. they still have have them in the seats but I doubt it... maybe in just the lower bowl?

I agree it is a great idea...and hope everyone buys one for the game. I know they cost $15 but $10 of that goes to cancer research.....GO VOLS!

I understand that it is for a good cause, but can we do away with all these dumb "____out" stunts once and for all in sports?

It still won't happen. People are going to be scalping right before the game and others won't know about and finally others won't want to spend the money.

It won't be close to a white out unless they provide the t-shirts.

I know about it but im still not paying $15 bucks for that t-shirt.. I would give cancer research money directly to whoever is performing the research but i dont want that t-shirt

should I email him my address?..

Shirts are going to the students and last I heard, which was prior to the Kentucky game from someone who works with the Student Rewards program, I think his name was Sal or something like that, I dont know he was just standing behind me in line to get into the student section, anyway he said they are working on giving everyone in the lower bowl a shirt

In other news he said they are also planning another checkerboard out. . . or whatever you wanna call it, for the Duke game with the Lady Vols cuz that is the Think Pink game. They are trying to find sponsors so they can make a pink and white checkerboard with ribbons intertwined on the sidelines in the lower bowl of TBA for that game.

I will say this, he told me Bruce was going to but shirts for the student section for the Florida game, so I give him just a little credibility. I just dont see them getting enough money for both games. (Duke and Florida) He said they get the shirts for about 4 bucks each, so times that by roughly 12,000 seats, and your looking at $48,000 to do each game. Thats without subtracting the money Pearl is putting up for the 3,000 going to the students.

Im not saying any of this other than the shirts for the students at the FLA game is written in stone, but they are working on it apparently
