Who did Chris Fowler pick??

I don't think Fowler makes picks. ESPN is smart enough to not let him do that. It would only expose him for how clueless he is.

I don't think Fowler usually makes picks, or very rarely that I've ever seen - although I've only watched Gameday one time this year I think, and it really doesn't matter to me if I ever see it again.

Why? It's a great show, a great prelude to a day full of college football. So what if ESPN doen't pick UT that much? It's still a good show.

It isn't that. I don't care if they pick UT or not - especially Corso. It's just someone's opinion, anyway. I'm not trying to get people to not watch the show or anything. I'm not even saying that it's not a good show. There's not a better show leading up to the college football weekend that I'm aware of. It's just kind of a personal boycott. I'm more disappointed at the sites that they seem to choose lately - and how that it's not about being at the best game anymore, but it's often about being at the game that ABC is carrying that night. Either that, or they are too busy following Ohio St. around. I was kinda surprised that they weren't at the Ohio St. vs. Bowling Green matchup - LOL! But seeing that they were at Florida vs. LSU last week, and the extra coverage that ESPN is giving the Auburn vs. Florida matchup this week, they might win me over again.

I pray Corso picks against the Vols, he's such an idiot, if you want a guaranteed loss let Corso and Holtz pick you to win

For that reason, I was VERY nervous walking into Sanford and Son on Saturday night.

Also to note about the game site they choose, it usually will coincide with being at the game that Herbstreit will call, or being close enough to that game that he can get there with no troubles...and they seem to really like OSU and Florida as sites now...3 games in a row where OSU played, and now 2 in a row where Florida is playing...and the FL/Auburn gaem is on ESPN this weekend.

it's simply a business decision...ESPN/ABC is going to to do what's best for them...and don't think that they weren't at the UF/LSU game last week to help promote this week's Aub/FL game....anybody notice how many ads ran for the "full circle" telecast coming up?

it's marketing and advertising at it's best...and it has nothing to do with what is necessarily the best game of the week anymore...and Fowler and Co. have come out and said it. I know Fowler's letter to the SEC wasn't necessarily well received, especially with the sentiments most SEC fans have towards Fowler, but it was fairly up front in regards to the decision making of where Gameday would be from now on...

I tell ya what, as big an idiot as Corso is (and Fowler), I wouldn't trade the 3 of them for anyone else. I can put up with them and I love the atmosphere. And I like it when Corso puts those heads on.

I'm with ya, ViA. I enjoy the show and it wouldn't be the same without either one of those three on there.

Who taught you grammar?

I hope the Gameday Crew always picks us, because we play better as underdogs. There's nothing like a talking head, an NFL bust and the village idiot for bulletin board material.

Probably the same person that taught you the Pac 1 was a legitimate football conference, Pacman.
