Is it too late to try to get Hinshaw back on board or is he already officially at UK?

He will go after T.J. Weist from Cincy. Personally, I wouldn't have gotten rid of Hinshaw but oh well...he's the coach!

he will go after Heist...

I also have a question about Strippling, he is the interim head coach for Cincinnati and is going to be one of our coaches this next season. Is he still staying with them through the bowl, or are they coming now? It seems it would be a low blow for them all to come and just to leave like 3 coaches for Cincinnati in the bowl...

It is apparent you did not get up on the right side of the bed this morning...You should try to spread your pessimism elsewhere...

Meh, you call it pessimism, i call it observation. What is apparent is that coaching at UT is an attractive option for either Cincinnati, or fired coaches. I genuinely hope the trend changes, but we got turned down by one of our own. C'mon man.

I understand getting behind the new coach but I have a hard time understanding how the "best staff in America' comes from the Cincinatti Bearcats.

When pretty much the same staff has helped you win 4 conference championships....I guess in his opinion they would be the best staff in America to him....you think :whistling:

TD Woods from Tulane. Played receiver at Tenn plus has SEC experience (Ole Miss) Would also more than likely have several connections in the Bayou State.

Fair enough but don't tell us that you're going out to get the best staff in America. Just say I'm going to bring my staff from Cincinatti with me. Which I believe is the best staff in America.

Swain he isn't a coach but plays one on tv and radio. True VFL imo.

Some of y'all act like coaches that CBJ may bring from Cinci are the bottom of the barrel as far as asst' coaches go. That is absolutely ridiculous! CBJ was very successful at Cinci with most of these Assistants with him. He knows more about whom to choose than any of the rest of us. He will be working with them everyday! Just let him do his job! Tee would have been a great addition, but, not having Tee is not an insurmountable
problem.

All coaches have to get their start some where.Saban started in the MAC.Just like Meyer and Kelly did.Everyone on here acts like every coach Tennessee hires needs to be a quality SEC COACH.There are good coaches everywhere not just the SEC.
