This is just speculation and curiosity on my part...It seems to me that we are still in with a lot of guys that we would like to have. In fact...more than we have room for. Is there anyone currently committed that we aren't really a fan of now or wish we hadn't offered so early? Anyone that we will ask to decommit? Now that things seem to be picking up in recruiting and we've still got a long way til NSD...

I would tend to think it would depend on which high profile guys we get. If we somehow pull Clowney or Kouandjio, I wouldn't think we ask anyone to decommit, especially not at their respective positions. If we are completely out of room and one of those guys wants to commit, maybe you ask someone to grayshirt. If I have to give you a name, I would probably say Andrew Power, the TE out of Arizona. Although, Dooley likes him some TEs. Maybe Devrin Young, although I would hate to miss out on another Randall Cobb. Maybe Christian Harris?

Are you committed to this post?

Trevarris or Harris are going nowhere, their Vols & will sign on NSD. The staff will NOT ask them to go anywhere else.

I agree. Trevarris is Williams teammate too, so that wouldn't probably sit well with him. I think Parker never visiting ut had a lot to do with the staff asking him to decommit.

JMO...but I think we'd be in a better position having too many commits than not enough...foolmer put us in that position a few years ago and look where we are now! And with guys who didn't make the grades last year, there will probably be some attrition, so an extra player or two cant hurt.

I would not care if we were full. These recruits follow things and know when a team is filling up. If you want a place at the table you need to make the call. I would rather we did not ask ANYONE to look elsewhere who wanted to be a Vol. If we were full as of today....I would be fine with a full class and would be happy come NSD. Sure, those last minute surprises are nice....but so would knowing your class is done mid October. JMO

It's never done in mid October though.

I saw where Parker from Hawaii had decommited. Hope it was the distance and not having been invited to look elsewhere. I just don't think Dooley operates that way.

Parker will decommit. Pat Martin might not stick it out and nothing would surprise me w/ AJ Johnson. I'd love to get an upper echelon TE and get rid of Power or Downs, tough to get rid of downs w/ crowder tho
