Who Gets Drafted?

Those 5 are almost certain to be drafted.

Guessing Banks gets an opportunity as an UDFA, but he could also be a late round pick. Carvin should get picked up as an UDFA.

Fant is intriguing. I don't know if he'll get drafted, but I think he's got a great shot to make a roster, given all the roles he can fill on a limited 53-man roster...TE, H-Back, Fullback, Special Teams, etc. Those guys are valuable in the NFL. At the very least, I think he'll make a practice squad, but I'm betting he makes a big boy roster, whether he's drafted or not.

It's been awhile since a draft had this much UT flavor to it. It's only going to increase in the coming years.

Flowers has a solid chance to be a late round pick. A ton of experience in the best conference in CFB, as well as experience in the return game. He's probably one of the top 15 safeties available in the draft.

I think Fant is a natural for a team that uses a fullback/hback

I like Fant, but I don't think he has the measurables for an NFL TE.
He's petty much the same size as Jonnu Smith and Chig Okonkwo. I assume Fant will test pretty well in a combine setting as he seems to be a pretty good athlete. There's at least a mold for guys like him. Heck even going back to a guy like Delanie walker as well. His versatility will be one of his biggest selling points for sure though.

I would be fascinated if Wright isn't a top 10 tackle. From just some discussion on a broadcast earlier in the year had him listed as the number 1 RT. That would limit his value a little bit by all means, but man not in the top 10 feels low.

We'll see at the combine, but from what I can tell Fant is nearly 2 inches shorter and is not nearly as fast as those guys.

I'm pulling for him either way.

He's listed at 6'2", just the same (more or less, depends where you look) as all 3 of those guys. I have no idea what he'll run in the 40, but I've seen some pretty good open field speed like on the long TD catch at USCe and that one longer TD rush he had against UT Martin (where he ran around the edge). If he could possibly run in the 4.5 range, he could shoot up boards.

If he runs 4.6 or better, it's a possibility. I feel like he'll be in the 4.7-4.8 range. And Smith and Chig are listed at 6'3. I mostly see Fant listed at 6'1.

His cousin Noah is only 2 inches taller and about the same weight… seems to be doing pretty well in the NFL

Look I'm pulling for the guy. Hope he's a HOFer. I'm just telling you there that many 6'1 TEs in the NFL.

He’s listed at 6’2 245 on the roster. You’re right that’s a little shorter than you’d like. I feel like he could get a Theo Jackson or Juan Jennings type of shot

They're projecting 5 QBs ahead of Hooker, 2 of which got beat bad all year.
