This is NOT a thread for discussion about Trump, Congress or any of the politics about this virus. This is just a place for those who have been diagnosed, or are in quarantine with a suspected case, to let the VN family know, so we can pray for and support you. You can post if you have 1st hand info on someone that you know has it.

Due to HIPAA rules I suspect we are not being warned of who has it and therefore are not able to take better precautions.

Stay safe!

I can't prove it but I'm relatively sure I had it on March 7-8. There were no tests and if they had them I wouldn't have qualified for one by their standards at the time. Very mild case, low grade fever, headache, cough, chills the second day, strange cramps, light headedness. All symptoms subsided the third day. No prayers needed, just sharing.

My friend's father was one of the first COVID deaths in the state.

Sadly, I think the prayers just missed him.

He had no pre-existing respiratory illness outside of childhood chronic bronchitis.

One of my closest, oldest friends was the 3rd Covid death in Davidson County, TN. He was 69, obese, heart problems. Checked himself into the ER and never left. Sick for a few days before he went to the ER. Not sure if his chances would have been better had he gone sooner. Huge Vol fan.

We had a friend’s father die here in Maryville. He was 80. His mother has it as well but seems to be Ok.
