With JJJ out and Phillips still questionable, it’ll be interesting to see how Barnes contains him.

Honestly, the best bet would be to start Mashack and let him go to work.

He’s got length and at least gives 100% effort on defense.

Mashack and Phillips assuming Phillips gives it a go. I would say JJJ as well, but I doubt he plays. Even if he does, I would guess that if he isn’t 100% that his minutes will be limited and that Barnes won’t have him on Miller.

Just a tough matchup. It’ll be interesting to see what Barnes rotation looks like. I’m guessing we don’t go deep into the bench in this game. For what it’s worth (which is absolutely nothing), below is what I would roll with.

PG: ZZ / SV
SG: SV / Key
SF: JP / Mashack / Key
PF: Mashack / ORN / Phillips
C: Awaka / Aidoo

No matter how we roll, we’re going to outmatched in multiple areas. Honestly it would take an effort like the EE8 team gave Kansas to pull this one off. I won’t write it off as a definite loss, though. Dogs backed into a corner tend to bite pretty dang hard. We will see if that’s what our Vols do.
