from UT Sports:

UT SPORTS SEC'S BEST RECORD SINCE 1998
Tennessee ranks as the winningest team in the Southeastern Conference over the last five-plus years in terms of victories and winning percentage with a 56-16 mark and a .778 percentage. During that span, Tennessee has appeared in five straight bowl games.

The Volunteers have also compiled a 35-10 record in conference games during that stretch, winning two Eastern Division titles and one overall league crown. Going back 10-plus years, the Vols are second in the league to Florida (109) with 105 wins.

Most Wins in SEC Play
(1998-Present)
1. Tennessee 56-16 .778
2. Georgia 53-18 .746
3. Florida 54-19 .740
4. Arkansas 45-26 .634
5. Mississippi 44-26 .629
6. LSU 41-28 .594
7. Alabama 41-29 .586

I wonder what the records are from 1999-Present?

Freak:

Good question. I can do ours pretty easily, however.

Just subtract 13 wins off of the VOL total and you have our record.

since '98 56-16

since '99 43-16 or .729

equates to 8.75 wins in a 12 game season.

Good Lord. We've got threads that are 10 years old.

Well, that's depressing. Honestly, at this point, I just want to be able, going into big games, to feel like UT has a chance. Florida last year was the first time since 2009. After that debacle, not so much... StiLl a Vol, though.
