I know how mad I am at Bruce for what he did to my University, but I couldn't even imagine how pissed Summit is right now.

I'll dare say that number is considerably lower after the press release from UT last night. I know of several who jumped ship in the drop of a hat.

I take no happiness in the firing of Pearl, but it has been pretty fun to watch the gradual decline in his support with each revelation in the past few months. I've been telling people since '06 that our success with Pearl will most likely end up coming with a cost. I had no idea it'd be this steep though.

That's what the poll says on GOVOLS.com. "Was UT right to fire BP?" I'm sure that the numbers will drop if people actually read and understand the entire story. However, I think a good number of those who back BP regardless will never change their minds, and never believe any of the reasons are true.

Also, I hope we are trying to do damage control on Hopson, Harris, Jones, and Ware. They need to understand exactly why he was let go. We need to make a MAJOR hire in the next 3 - 6 weeks.
