If everyone stays committed I think that Matt Milton is going to be the dark horse in this coming class. He is fast, runs good routes, can jump, and he is also 6'6. They have him as a 3 star on rivals. His coach said he is the best football player that has come out of the state that he as seen.

Who is your alls dark horse?

I second that. Also, I don't know if you would call him a dark horse, but I'm extremely high on Milton. He seems to be everything Kiffin wants. Plus, in that picture he looks like he has put on some lbs.

A pass from a 6'6" Bray to a 6'6" Milton will be something to see. Can you even defend that?

He also looks very good at staying on balance and actually catching the ball. Lots of tall guys that can jump but aren't good at jump balls.

I like him a lot. Combine him with a few burners at receivers and they could be impressive.

Of the 3 stars they have committed I could see Jose Jose as a dark horse. At one point he was talking ee and they desperately need a center. He could start as a freshman if he's here in the spring.

With the players coming in I think Milton redshirts. The dark horse Ken Adams, CLK likes to get the ball to the TE, and Cottam is a SR.

I dont understand why people continue to push this idea that Jose Jose is going to come in and start at center as a freshman. He has lots of weight to lose before he finds a spot in any OL rotation, especially center. Our offensive line philosophy does not call for huge lineman at any position. And center is typically going to be the smallest of those lineman. I think the kid that is redshirting at center, Kevin Revis, is the prototypical type to fit our offensive line philosophy. We want a center that is about 280-290, not 350. I think Jose Jose is probably the most likely of any player in this class to redshirt. I think he has tremendous potential down the road but it wont be early in his career.

Im going to say Zach Fulton will be an all-SEC caliber guard and Fugate will be a big part of this offense his junior and senior seasons.

Matt Elam, because Meline, Gerald Jones, Adams, Thompkins, Teague, Richardson will all have Hiesman campaign against him!

I like this.

Fugate has to be coming in with the lowest expectations.

Fulton is maybe the most dramatically misranked by Rivals.

Milton is playing against inferior competition and played his HS season as a 6'6 RB.

All three of these guys have the potential to be the dark horse of the offensive class.

By the time the smoke clears on the defensive class, not many dark horse candidates will exist. I will go with Michael Taylor. I think he plays almost to the level of Luc and the other stud we get whether it is Christian Jones, Josh Shirley or Corey Nelson and no one anticipates that.

I don't know that he is considered a darkhorse, but I think Palardy will have the biggest impact.

Palardy I think will have the biggest impact. Look at our kicking situation now...

Fugate. Kiffin likes using the fullback, and if my memory is correct, he received an offer the morning of his first camp. If so, CLK liked what he saw and knew exactly how he wants to use him.
