Close call.
Florida's expectations were to come in this season and compete for a division and possibly a conference title. Fell short, but didn't look too bad on the way. The offense needs more work, but then again Chris Leak lacks about every asset Meyer wants in a QB for his system. So it's okay for Florida, Meyer is in his first year and has time to get on his feet.
Tennessee, however, was touted as having some of the best talent in the country, possibly even second only to the Men of Troy themselves. While not heavily favored, our guys were believed to have an edge in taking the SEC as we were supposed to be the only team in the SEC without any glaring problems. That promise has since turned into a floundering conference record and the offense has gone from a supposed slightly above par to terrible. It feels like Arian Foster is the only talented offensive football player enrolled at UTK.
So, both were pretty big dissappointments but I think the Vols have definitley been among the most dissappointing teams in the country. Not quite as bad as Oklahoma, but along there with Michigan and the like.
