With Hart having ties to Florida St and Alabama. If the big $$$$$ boosters at Tennessee does not make a hire. Then i think Hart looks at Jimbo Fisher and Kirby Smart. Would you be happy with Jimbo Fisher? I heard Fisher is not happy at Florida St. I hope it is Gruden. But until i see a press conference saying Gruden is next football coach at Tennessee. I do not believe it will happen.

I would say Gruden, but thats a long shot.

If I were one of the big dogs at Tennessee I would look out west for a guy named Peterson...

just saying...

Sean Payton or Andy Reid, maybe sexi Rexi....

seriously though, we need a big name period and hopefully the guys with the checkbooks understand this now. No more nice guys from mid-majors or one year and run a-holes! Come on MAAN!

How about Gary Patterson??? He showed interest when Fulmer was fired and Hammy pissed him off. Hart could try him.

What about Stanford's coach??

I think that would be an incredible hire, but he wouldn't come here in a million years. He's a west coast guy with absolutely no ties to Tennessee or the SEC. Stanford's playing style on both sides of the ball would translate very well in the SEC.

Gruden. If not, then Gruden. If that doesn't work out, then Gruden.

Seriously, Gruden. If not then bring ol' Phil back.

Gruden has to be first choice. If he says no then make Stoops say no. I know I like the long shots but what have you got to lose in asking.

How about Mike McCoy of the Denver Broncos? Sure would like to get Peyton's thoughts on him.
