Who is our best new recruit?

Hardesty, Taylor, McCoy, Morley, Richard, Bolden, Brisco, Wardlow and Gerald Williams if he can get thru clearinghouse

What is up with Williams and clearinghouse. That seems to be taking forever.

Hurricane. They just have a couple of questions to get cleared up but the school has been closed the last couple of days.

I didnt include Bolden or Brisco. Only the class of the summer camp.
Bolden is a monster, needs to work on DL fundamentals(Hands, feet & wheres the ball?) I think we see him against UAB getting rep's.
Brisco is competing with Taylor in a sound group of WRs, I wouldnt be hard pressed to say either get catches early as well.

How can anyone say Crompton? Nothing at all against the kid but he got injured and we haven't even saw him play. I think he has a lot of potential and could end up being a terrific QB, but its hard to understand how someone can already say he looks like the best of the bunch when he hasn't even played.

Brent Hubbs says this is a tremendous looking overall class. Randy Moore of Gridscape says he thinks we will lokk back on this class as one of the greatest classes EVER at Tennessee.

I personally think Morely will be a star. Coach Fulmer and Troop absolutely "LOVE" Montario Hardesty. He could be special. Rico McCoy looks like a star in the making. Vlad Richard has really impressed. Bolden has really impressed. Lucas Taylor could be the next Peter Warrick. I think Gerald Williams will be a dominant force on the edge in a year or two.

This class is LOADED!

Based on the logic you use, how could anyone say anyone. We haven't seen ANY of the freshmen play a game yet.

Crompton is up there because of his ranking Nationally, and his highschool numbers, which is the same thing that the other people are using to rank their favorites.

As for Taylor being the next Warick......God I hope not. He was a crook, a thug, and couldnt perform in the big game (unless you count the 99 title game). :)

I think many are ranking their opinions on practice/scrimmage videos, not just high school rankings alone.

Tough call though. My vote goes to Morley. He has impressed in practice and he was the highest ranked coming out of high school.

if u base it on ranking, i say morley. if u base it on potential, i still say morley. the guy is shining. hes gonna be big and probably right from the get-go.

morley is gonna make a big impact this year IMO but the next 2 or 3 i think your going to see D. Bolden start tearing people up....if he keeps his head on straight and doesnt get in trouble he's at least a 2nd team all america at DT.....not to mention our staff has a habit of recruiting and developing some amazing DT's....John Henderson, Darwin Walker, Haynesworth, Mahelona and I think Bolden will be next in that long list of good UT DT's......mark it down 2-3 years from now all american  :victory:

That was a hell of a game though. I remember one 40 yard TD catch where he caught the ball behind the DB's back as the DB was basically hugging him. That was one of the best catches I've ever seen.

I wouldn't mind a UT version of Peter Warrick (without the delinquincy).

Morley is the best recruit of this class. He is going to be a big name player here for the next 4 years. He has the potential and talent to be like some of the great DBs to come out of "The U"(miami) in the past four or five seasons.

I think that Taylor will be the sleeper.
