By reading many of the posts (I don't claim to read 'em all), I have determined that to be the next head coach at the University of Tennessee, the following qualifications must be met:

A history of national championships (OK, Super Bowls count, too)
A winning history
Should be young enough for long-term stability (but still with a long history of winning)
Able to build a 5 star staff on day 1
Has cell phone numbers for all 5 star recruits
Land a top 3 recruiting class by Feb 2013
Considers Vandy and Kentucky as training camp for bowl games
Has a movie star personality and looks
Walks on water
A defensive wizard with a great offense
NO baggage
Will unify the fans immediately
Voted for both Obama and Romney
Flies unrecognized
Is academic
Is athletic
Does not demand high $

That should almost cover it. I'm sure I missed something but Hart should have no problems doing that in the next few hours.

Must be able to recruit at least 20 5* players every season.

Must be the second coming of Jesus.

Must be able to cure cancer, AIDS, and end world hunger while coaching the team to 14-0 records and outscoring opponents 1,456-0 through the season.

etc.

So that means Santa Clause will be our next HC. I'm sure my two grandkids will love that and will be VFL or 6 yrs old, whichever comes first.

I ruled him out when he didn't vote for Ron Paul in the primary and Gary Johnson in the general.

Heard Bill King this morning give a ringing endorsement for Charlie Strong, but warned Louisville would not give him up easily.

Who wants to mess with paltry National Championships when we have multiple Super Bowl winning coaches who would surely be tripping over themselves to come here and have the honor of coaching the Vols?

Chuck Norris will be the next head football coach at the University of TN. Opposing players and coaches beware.

Have a great winning record, NC, great recruiter. Oh wait; we FIRED him.

Bill Snyder did it. Fulmer might. He meets all of Hart's list, too. There would be a boom in PC monitors from all that got broken when it was announced and might help the economy. I do NOT believe it would be beyond the realm of reality.

Bill king will do anything to destroy Tennessee football. Years ago he was a big supporter, but has become anti Tennessee when he lost all his inside contacts and turned against us..

Gruden is not interested in Tennesse.

Do you know the guy personally? I'll tell you what, if Brent Hubbs says that there is mutual interest between UT and Gruden, then I'm going to take it to the bank. Brent doesn't say things that he can't confirm, even of that means getting scooped on a story. I'm not saying we get him, or even that we have a good chance, I'm just saying there's enough evidence to suggest you're wrong.
