Kip Bouknight; he pitched for them. I wish Bob was a little more of a homer but he’s over the top. I don’t mind homerism and excitement but it’s the constant praising of every minute baseball play that takes place. Complaining about last nights strike zone in the first inning today, as if that’s the reason you gave up 10 runs, is petty & makes him look like he lacks knowledge of the game and he clearly doesn’t.He’s an unabashed Gamecock fan. Not even trying to hide it. Ridiculous.

But these games are announced by the home teams broadcast crew so homerism should be expected, especially since they’re not “national” broadcasts and are being provided by the host schools production teams (I believe). He’s just over the top on every play that’s my issue; celebrating a go ahead bomb doesn’t bother me, it’s the saying if we get 3 HR’s and 4 walks we can win this, we’re not out of it, when they’re down 6 in the 9th inning. Now he’s celebrating Allen’s home run. Unbelievable.

I guess so. I’ve just not noticed others being this biased.
But when Tennessee played Florida, it was Wilkerson and a Florida color commentator.
When I complain about Kesling, I recall driving through Columbia SC during a Gamecock football broadcast; their announcers are just wretched, including Ellis. All USCe announcers are homer trash. Ever heard the football play by play guy? I think it's Todd Ellis, a former QB. I mean, it's OK to let it be known you're the announcer for a specific team, but when you take a position and start referring to your team as 'we', you're really not an announcer....more like the Joseph Goebbels for your team....lol. I know Kesling gets a lot of flack, but check some of these other SEC clowns out first...like the legendary moron who said something about a hob nail boot in your face. I mean seriously, who would actually say something so stupid and then get praised for it?
