Who is the kicker?

It seems no one has really discussed this or been all that concerned about it, but we just lost a really good kicker and he’ll be replaced by an unknown. I’m guessing Max Gilbert is the leader in the clubhouse over Carver and Turbyville, but how good is he?

It’s an important role. See Bama game 2022. Are we confident in Gilbert?

I would think with fall practice beginning in a few weeks, if Hyp thought he needed a kicker he would have signed one already. Safe to say one of the kickers on the team is considered good enough.

I fervently wish for Tennessee to become kicker U, the dream school for the best kickers on the planet. I want Vols kickers to be so good, that #11 is reserved for them. Yes, I want opponents to fear the appearance of Tennessee's kicking unit, even if the ball is on the 45. Beware the boot!
