Wow. I can't imagine a better scenario this year for us to be more stacked at wideout.

Anyone else think we are going to see some 4 and 5 wide sets this year?

We need to hang 60 on Vandy to shut up their five fans.

"We need to shut up Vandy"..........there is no sadder indictment of the state of Tennessee football.

I mentioned this on another forum earlier so I'll repeat it in response to this. I lurked on over there earlier (the market is slow and it's the off season and I'm bored at work, shut up), and one of them mentioned that he's convinced they will win 9-10 games this year, including beating us handily.

This was all in response to USA Today ranking them at 74 or whatever in their preseason countdown.

If he's a grad then this is proof that vandy doesn't include common sense as part of their academic offerings.

If a Vandy fan told me they were convinced Vandy would win 10 games this year, I would simply yawn and look at my watch.

Well, I know where they will get 4 easy ones as that out of conference schedule is the weakest in the land.

But I honestly don't see them winning any SEC East games this year. UK is a little better than them this year. I definitely don't see them beating the Miss teams.

Their best chance for an SEC victory will be UK and Mizzou and they are both road games.

UT might as well be a road game as our fans will outnumber them this year by 2-1 once it becomes obvious they are not bowling.

And if it is us that keeps them from bowling, then that sir will be a sweet payback!

I had to look to see it for myself, I can see 4 likely wins on their schedule: Temple, UMass, Charleston Southern, and Old Dominion.

Ten wins means they beat 6 of: Ole Miss, South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, Mizzou, Florida, Miss State, and us. Yeah, doubtful.

He thinks vandy is going to win 9 or 10 games this year, they wont win 10 games in any season in the next 100 years, now they might win 10 in a 2 year span, when there coach left this time that was there shot at success, they will be the laughing stock of the league and fight it out with Kentucky for 6th place in the east like they always do, they had there moment in the sun, its time to get back to begin the same old vandy like the last 50 years.:eek:lol:
