Who do you blame for the past 5 years of intensive Volunteer humbling? It has been tough and sickening to watch our beloved Vols go down from perennial powerhouse to Vandy East. I personally blame Fulmer and the big guys who did not boot him after 05. The big boosters and AD then hired 2 blithering morons to coach us! So, I blame THE AD AND BOOSTERS ABOVE ALL. Yes,we have had bad luck. Yes, Fulmer was great in 95-04. Yes,the SEC landscape has changed not in our favor. But none of this is any excuse! It was plain that Fulmer was out of his league against Saban,Spurrier, and Miles! I could see. I admire Phil. I admire the players. I DO NOT ADMIRE THE PAST AD AND BOOSTERS WHO HAVE DESTROYED MY VOLS FOR 5 GRUELING YEARS! So,VolNation, to whom do you place the blame for our shameful ineptitude over this span? I DO NOT wanna see players names! We had t4he players to compete THIS YEAR! IT HAS BEEN COACHING! NOT THE PLAYERS! GO VOLS!

100% of the blame goes to Phil Fulmer.....he had it all, but couldn't lay down the creme-filled, chocolate, sprinkle covered doughnut long enough to call a couple of recruits.

Hamilton, Fulmer (his stubborness and complacency), Cheek, Kiffin (and staff), the NCAA (snooping around which took forever and much lingering), losing countless players to transfer/jail, and finally Dooley.

Been a tough while for us Vol fans but I would put the blame on Hamilton and Fulmer the most. They started this train wreck long ago. This was in the works way before the "5 years" you speak of.

Without a doubt fulmer deserves some of the blame for getting lazy in recruiting and the rest of it falls on mike hamilton and whoever hired him.

I blame the mountains in Tennessee. hard to pick cottons in a landscape like that in the 1800's, thus lack of in-state talents in present day.

The University of Tennessee is to blame....you can blame Hamilton...Kiffen....Fulmer or Dooley, but UT was ultimately responsible for the Football program's demise.

Hamilton and Fulmer. Fulmer got lazy and was getting killed in recruiting by Richt,Spurrier,Meyer,Miles,Saban. And Hamilton because after the Fulmer he should of went out and hired a good coach and paid the man. Then we would of not had any of this Kiffin crap we went through.
