I think he's broken, personally. Can't see why KC wouldn't hold him until the deadline otherwise, they were worried about him falling apart....
He isn't broken. Currently, he is on a promising team with a much better rotation. Mentally, he can be a headcase, but I don't know who wouldn't with 65 wins per year and little run-support. The future is extremely promising, but Greinke wasn't willing to wait, particularly with Dayton Moore and his antics. When Greinke brings his stuff he is hard to beat.
