at the end......change a hold on the punt after bobby johnson runs all the way on the field and crys like a baby.

then the pass interference.

and a delay of game during the hurry up?

THESE REFS SHOULD BE REPREMANDED.

I was there, the pass interference was uncatchable... so much horrendous officiating. I would not have been complaining until that last flag. A physically impossible penalty. Amazing how they could hand it to the 'dores. I wonder if they will get away with it.

I'm not one to blame the refs for a loss, but they were part of this one. Those were some of the worst refs that I have seen in a while.

Amen. If we've deteriorated to the point where the officials are a factor in a game against Vanderbilt, we DESERVE to lose.

Tennessee football should never be bothered by 3 penalties. Game should have been so far out of hand 3 flags doesn't matter.

Oklahoma-Texas Tech game....last 4 plays were reviewed. I think that is incredible. The last play showed a TT back on the ground with not 1 but both knees on the ground reaching for the goaline, which was incredibly called a score. Its my thought that the idea was if we reverse this call, after 2-3 of the previous calls were, and the last being the 4th straight play under review, the on field officials will lose credibility. Man I tell ya Oklahoma got hosed...HUGE.

We're sounding like the Bammer crybabies. Vandy beat us fair and square. Drove for the winning TD when the had to and deserve all credit. No excuses!!

I guess...

The delay of game penalty actaully helped us. Instead of losing a down on the spike we got the second down play again and extra chance at throwing to the endzone.

I thought the pass int. was holding, but not int.

P.S. meachem called looking for his hands.

Maybe he should check in the special teams' lockers. They seem to hold a lot.

Special teams...they're special alright.

Hannon's non-catch-INT reminds me of he SNL skit with the delayed response guy...

...Hannon swatting at the thing after it had already ricocheted off his shoulder pads.

Honest question: what WAS the "delay of game" call at the end? Anyone have a real explanation?

The only thing that made any sense that I've heard so far is that we snapped the ball before the referee gave the "ready for play" signal and blew his whistle.

Last I heard, the refs didn't start the play. They put the ball down and RC snapped it before they whistled for the play to start. I could be wrong though.

IS there a whistle when the clock is running? I thought that once the ball was placed by the ref, the offense could snap it as soon as they are lined up?

Was the clock running for sure? I thought it was but this day is a blur to me now...

Yes . . . On a first down, the referee blows the whistle and signals the timekeeper when to wind the clock.
