It's great that we have talented freshmen playing but anyone who is expecting blowout wins is living in a dream world.

We have what we have. This is gonna be an exciting season but the complaining about play calling is out of line. I'm sure the coaches will open the play book as our young guys get more comfortable.

I'm not gonna complain about anything I see on the field this year. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride :peace2::peace2:

After a few games freshmen are just like upper classmen

Except...

Upper classman have had multiple years of S&T under a trained professional.

Years of supplements.

And live game day experience of the playbook over and over again so it becomes instinct and no longer a thought process.

Other than that...yeah a true freshman playing in his 4th game is just like a Senior playing in his 38th game.

Perhaps a semi-close game today wasn't such a bad thing. It'll help temper the more unrealistic fans' expectations.

Unless those supplements are Test and GHB..its extraneous.

Ummm...

We did blow them out with freshman playing.

And ASU is a very good experienced team.

I seriously do not understand what the Idiot Negavols are so worked up about.

Yes the Oline needs to be better...and they will get better every week.

Worley is better then ANYONE expected him to be... the Defense is Better then ANYONE expected them to be..

WTF is the darn problem with some of you.

Cam sutton would disagree. He was good last year but he looks like our best defender this year as a sophomore. These guys have to mature physically as well as mentally. The two tackles he made behind the line of scrimmage after shedding blocks were increadible.

I couldn't watch the game, being on a ship in the Gulf without the SEC network. From the way it sounded the young team we have seemed to dominate the first half. It also seems that after the final TD was scored that Butch wanted to concentrate more on the run than anything else.

One thing that would probably help the run is for Worley to keep the ball occasionally. That would help our young O line, and freshman RB tremendously IMO.

I honestly think USU was extremely overrated. They are currently knotted up @ the half against Idaho St. That win may ultimately not be as impressive as everyone made it out to be...
Big time overrated.

Big time overrated.

I stand corrected - I misread the box score.. It's actually still in the 2nd qtr and USU is now up 20-6. Still doesn't change my opinion on them.. Believe me I hope it turns out to be a quality win when all is said and done !

I agree freak . and I been working all day I'm just about to watch the game for the first time . but I have told my friends and co- workers all week that arky state could beat Utah state . people forget that Utah state had list A LOT from the prevoue past successful seasons and arky state has a good experienced group with a very talented qb
