Taking the ND job would have been a career killer. Meyer was smart enough to know ND was a barren wasteland on the talent level.

He would have been better off in the Witness Protection Program than at ND.

Then immediately tanked. Can only be two reasons. The talent well ran dry, or Weis sucks as a coach. Maybe a little of both?

Top 10 classes that don't produce, don't mean much.

According to you, there was never a talent well to run dry.
