HV, hopefully you can help out on this one. We have somewhere around 29 commits so far. I believe the limit is 25 a year. Who is a sign and place? If they enrolled in January, do they count against next years 25? And any other general crap that would be helpful that I cant think of right now.
Enlighten.....Please.

No if they enrollled in Jan they can be counted against LAST year, I think, which we had plenty of room..I think everyone is going to qualify unless there is someone we haven't heard of. Rogan is the only question mark there I think..but I think he'll make it.

Same with Gerald Williams. Havent heard much on him lately if he's going to make it or head the Juco route.

How many enrolled in Jan? 5-6? If so, that puts us down to where we can take 1-2 more recruits (Austin..Paige?), right?

So we had six (?) enroll in January. Does that mean we can sign 31 assuming the six are all counted against 2006? Even with that math, we are getting very close to the quota. Anyone know how all this will work?

5 enrolled in January

Todd Campbell
Darris Sawtelle
Donald Langley
Cody Pope
Art Evans

Those 5 are counted towards last year's class. So this puts UT right at 25 signees for this 2007 class. Rogan and G. Williams may not qualify, so theres 2 more UT could take (D. Jones, A. Paige, M. Austin, S. Corley??). Also, there's always the possibility of the coaches asking one or two commits to greyshirt.

I want D. Jones and Austin. Paige is overrated and Corley is weak. That's why Florida quit recruiting Corley.

Corley is weak? Can you bench 335lbs?
that bugs me when people say this stuff because that also means you cant judge anyone superior to your talent. He's saying corley is weak compared to the competetion. I know your just trying to be smart but thats annoying and stupid when people say that.

kinda wierd... Tom Lemming doesn't even list us in the 4 schools Austin is considering. Boy will he ever look stupid when he commits to us :crazy:eek:r if he doesn't I will.

Strong... weak... doesn't matter. Give him one or two years on college campus, and he'll be where he needs to be.

I don't think Paige is overrated. He's at least 6'2'', he's fast (4.4), and he can jump out of the stadium. He has averaged 20+ ypc the last two years in HS. People are only concerned with his weight and frame, which is not a big deal IMHO.

Agree 100%. Paige is a very talented WR, but he's not as talented as Dwight Jones. Paige is now considering Alabama, along with Tennessee, Florida State, and USC.

benching 230 and 335 is a big difference, but there is now way a DE only benches 230.
