1. Worley
2. Dobbs
3. I want Worley to start but due to his Injury, it's going to be Dobbs.
4. I want Dobbs to start but if Worley's thumb is okay, Worley will get the nod.

I think it will be Dobbs due to Worleys thumb not being back to 100%. I do not think Worley is done though and I don't think we should give up on him...Remember what happened last time he spent some time on the bench? He came back out looking like a completely different QB!

Aren't the last two options pretty much the same thing?
I just don't see why we need options that include the reason for why you think one or the other will start? Just have the top two and leave the reasons for posts.
JMHO.

I like Dobbs, but Worley is a good game manager. Wouldn't have a problem seeing either one of them

I agree. I don't think it's as cut and dry as some would think. I know this sounds crazy, but I am going to let the coaches decide, trust their decision, and then cheer for whoever they trot out there. :loco:

Personally I want Dobbs... his redshirt is burnt... why not get him valuable playing time that will greatly benefit the teams future. IMO Dobbs managed the game as good if not better than Worley did saturday... clearly his arm is much stronger... Dobbs FTW IMO TIFWIW

Freshman only starts if Worley thumb is not right, we heard all week that JW was wearing a glove to grip the ball. But it was evident that his thumb was not right early in the game, JW MUST be honest about this because it flip the game at BAMA too quick and UT was out of it.

Dobbs has too much potential IMO
I will be upset of I don't get to see him again

If Dobbs plays then bUTch should be committed to playing him and not just play him on gimmick plays three times a game.

Probably the best scenerio would be for WorleyBird to NOT be 100% this week. Let Dobbs start! Dobbs & defense leads us to a win on the road against a top #25 team. Then since Dobbs has the hot hand, let him finish the season as the starter.

Dobbs and a potent read option adds a wrinkle that the next 4 opponents might find hard to game plan for.
No film for Mizzou to watch.

Assuming both are healthy I agree. I know Butch's style of offence favors Dobbs. I have not seen enough of Dobbs to have the same level of confidence in him as I have in Worley. Remember Worley was able to handle SC. I have confidence the coaches will make the right decision.

:good!:

Surely not... but it worked out pretty well with the Todd Helton/Peyton Manning situation.

for that to happen a 5th year senior getting his first opportunity had to blow his knee out. I doubt he thinks it worked out well

I have no issue with a player getting beaten out for a spot but to say an injured player is a positive is low class

Like and appreciate Justin. But I'd rather have who appears to be a dynamic playmaker in Dobbs than just the game manager than Worley has shown to be.

They are going to try to keep those freshmen off the field as much as possible. I don't know if it's the right call, but I think we know now that it's the call the coaches are going to make.

so the best scenario is for a UT player to be injured? :disappointed:

If it opens the light for an unproven player who eventually proves himself to be better than his predecessor, then it is good for the long run.

Flash!!
Monday morning depth chart lists worley as starter for Mizzou.
Could it be a ploy?

If Worley is healthy it's a no brainer. He proved himself against SC. Butch always has Dobbs in his back pocket....
