Will we even have a TEAM? This bench is not doing too well.

Who's the studs for 2014?

It's not about personal. You have to be able to play to your team's strengths. Next year we wil be very athletic, so we need to press and run the floor. We need a coach who is aggressive and will teach guys to sprint the floor wide and cut hard to the basket. We need better floor spacing, and we need Stokes to stay next year so he can learn to handle double teams and score better with his back to the basket. A good coach can take next years team to the tournament if he uses them properly, and if he can scheme a half court game just half way descently.

Unfortunately this season was our chance to be a very good team. We have experience, depth, and talent but for whatever reason we have underachieved. Next couple of years will be very rough unless we can find a coach who can overachieve. Obviously CCM is not that guy.

We will be very very bad.

This is an understatement. Imagine if you can this game without Stokes and Maymon. We may only score 16 or so against Kentucky and Florida next year. I don't expect us to win 50% of our games and I hope we keep this staff so everyone can truly see the talent and coaching that this staff has brought to the hill. I don't think people realize what is in store next season.

Preseason, all I heard from friends back home [ state of Tenn] was that we were easily good enough to get to the NCAA and had an outside chance to really compete in the league for top tier status. Now I read - 'next years team...' Hart has a tough decision to make in the shadow of an arena that was hopping during the CBP years.

Don't think we'll see Stokes next season.
You can see it in his face.
Got that 'tired of this crap' look.

So him finishing higher than projected both years with a gutted roster was not overachieving? First year he was in the same spot he will be in next year or maybe even worse. We were picked at the bottom of the SEC but finished 2nd , won 19 games and almost made the NCAA. Last year we lost Maymon and still finished higher than projected. Bruce left a bunch of bench players and NCAA problems.

And we have achieved at about our talent level. Our talent level is make the tournament. We still will. People act like we are a top ten pre season team. We weren't ranked people seem to forget. Depth was hurt when our top recruit was hurt. He never was at 100%. And down low our depth is non existent anyway.

Can't say we overachieved when expectations were at least making the tournament every year.

Richardson and Thompson can make for a nice duo other than that a little troublesome however im not in as much of a panic as others

Hubbs and Richardson will be nice next year. I guess we struggle in the paint with youth.

Hopefully Hubbs gets healthy and can really play, richardson will probably be the main guy. DT could be good he's got a lot to work on. We will be hurting in the post.

When Richardson tries to create his shot he looks very bad. I can't see him being the primary scorer for our team. He disappears offensively way too much in games throughout his career. I will be shocked if he is the player that leads this team offensively next year.
