We're seriously planning on supporting the Vols if they get to go bowling, but we're waiting on some certainty before we throw down the money.

Sure Nashville is a lot of fun. Love how downtown is separate and you can walk the bridge over to LP. Doubt the vols will be playing there but still a good time.

More likely liberty bowl. Ole miss will probably get picked for music city or geogia. Tenn to liberty and vandy to Birmingham. The pecking order is music city liberty then Birmingham.

Before anybody makes Bowl plans, keep in mind that Vandy is already going to a Bowl somewhere. They have won all of the games they needed to win to earn a Bowl game! At midnight after the Kentucky game would be the best time to make Bowl preparations. We will certainly know by then whether there is any point!

If the Music City has a chance to pick the Vols they will.

What would have to happen for us to make it to the Outback Bowl?

I may be wrong but I think if there are any 8-4 teams available they are forced to pick them over a 6-6 team. But they would be allowed to take a 6-6 team over a 7-5 team.

I would take a bowl out of state if offered. I would go somewhere to get these kids out of their comfort zone. They need all the practice they can get winning when it is not comfortable in unfamiliar settings.

Just buy the tickets and then unload on Craigslist if Vols don't make it. You may lose a few bucks but if you get decent lower lever seats you'll have no trouble selling. This winter is starting off cold and nobody is gonna want to freeze their azz off in the upper level with those wind currents that follow the Scumberland blasting you for 3+ hours.

When in Nashvill stay away from Pancake Pantry, Loveless Cafe and the Bluebird. They all have enough business as it is.
