How does someone who is coaching college football who's very job may ride on his team's rankings expected to give an unbiased vote on who the best teams in college football are? Obviously they are gonna be biased to their own teams and conferences.

I think they should add the Volnation poll to the BCS formula..

Just look at all the AD's in the Harris Poll.

It's basically AD's, Journalists not good enough to be in the AP Poll, and former players.

You can't genetically create a more biased group.

I agree. There's too much money at stake to expect people to not be biased.

That's why they should make them public. It might not help much, but you can bet that it will make them think a little.

Hm... so the coaches that have (new) next to them only got the ability to vote this year? Do they have to be a coach for a certain length of time for one school before they can?

It would explain why Usc gets so much love. To the pac-10 coaches, theyre godly. It also explains why Texas is so high...compared to the current state of the big 12, theyre also godly. What a joke.

Yeah... Because Pac-10 coaches are the only ones with an agenda in the way they vote. And by the way, you missed about 1,000 miles north. Texas is in the Big XII.
