By the end of their UT career, I think Jacques Smith will be the biggest of the class.

Definitely Luc. Here is a brief article on him-"“Jeff Luc is the ‘Incredible Hulk’ of this recruiting class,” Every said. “But he is so much more than a physically impressive looking kid because he will bury the opposition in the dirt with power, speed and an ideal tackling form.”

You'd pass on a top notch QB simply because he committed elsewhere previously? I guess you must hate guys like Oku, Nuke, and Bryce Brown.

love all three of them but they didn't show interest in Tennessee and then committ to another school did they?

scroggins just likes being talked about.

So did BB, Oku...

I think as the media gets more and more into the whole recruiting thing, you'll see more and more of this sort of "get into the spotlight" attitude.

Ten years ago (heck, 5 years ago) it wasn't nearly as big a deal, but now - especially with things like the Army All American game being on non-cable network tv, kids are being much more exposed through the media.

As things progress I'd bed my house that there will be more guys waiting until the last moment (BB, Pryor) and more guys holding press conferences to commit (Heaps).

Oku decommitted and recommited. Who cares if a guy has a tough time committing, just so long as in the end, they sign papers with UT.

and if they dont, they arent as good as we previously thought and we start thinking about the day they meet Eric Berry over the middle!

Isn't Bray about the same height as Peyton Manning?

I surely hope you have something other than physical attributes before you starting comparing this kid to Peyton Manning. There are probably 100's of kids at quarterback that have Peyton's height. I think Tyler Bray would be a great get considering our current quarterback options, but come on, Peyton...seems like a bit of a stretch.

Good call out! I've noticed this sentiment entirely too much, I mean come on, talk about sour grapes...

Smith has a chance to be something special. Ambles has the ability to become a top flight receiver as well.

Offensive line as a whole will probably be our most important 'gets'.

I would't be surprise if it someone that have not got Tenn. on his list, where he might end up signing with Tenn. anyway in Feb. Which I don't know who, but anything can happen.

I too think Bray could be special. He's a skyscraper but really needs to put on some weight.
