I believe Cincy's D was ranked 12th in the country in scoring defense this year. I think their DC coming to UT with Jones would be quite acceptable.

He is bringing his OC and DC from Cincinnati. His defense was 12th in the nation is scoreing defense this year. If we had that this year we would of only lost about 2 games at the most. :banghead2:

Good grief. Another poster saying we have to have a big name even though we have had zero success attracting anyone close to a big name. Why in the hell do you think a big name NFL DC coach would want to come to UT? There is no way UT can pay one as much as the NFL does. Face it, we are not one of those elite programs - yet.

You can only judge their defense against their competition. Ranking doesn't mean a lot against big east competition. Dooley might could have been better against that type of competition.
